Description

Strongman Fingals Fingers is a classic strongman event named after the rocks at the Giants Causeway. The athlete grabs the end of a long heavy pole on the ground and lifts and tips it up and over so it lands flat on the other side. The event tests posterior chain power.

Strongman Fingals Fingers Instructions

  1. Stand at the end of a long weighted pole on the ground.
  2. Bend down and grip the pole near the end.
  3. Brace your core hard and keep the back flat.
  4. Drive through the legs to lift the pole.
  5. Continue driving up to tip the pole vertical.
  6. Push the pole past vertical to start it tipping over.
  7. Step back as the pole falls forward.
  8. Move on to the next pole. Continue for the working time.
