Description
The seated upper body rotation is a thoracic spine mobility drill done seated. The mover sits tall and rotates the torso from side to side. It is useful for desk workers and as a warm-up.
Equipment Required
Seated Upper Body Rotation Instructions
- Sit on a bench or chair with the back tall.
- Place the hands on the hips or behind the head.
- Brace your core and keep the chest up.
- Rotate the torso to one side as far as comfortable.
- Hold briefly at the rotated position.
- Return through center to the other side.
- Keep the hips facing forward.
- Continue alternating sides.
