Description

The seated sky look is a basic neck mobility stretch performed seated. The lifter sits tall and tilts the head back to look upward toward the sky. The neck extension stretches the front of the neck and opens the chest. It is a useful posture stretch.

Seated Sky Look Instructions

  1. Sit tall on a bench or chair with feet flat on the floor.
  2. Keep the back upright and shoulders relaxed.
  3. Brace your core lightly.
  4. Tilt the head back slowly to look up at the ceiling.
  5. Open the front of the throat as the head tilts back.
  6. Hold the position and breathe deeply.
  7. Feel the stretch through the front of the neck.
  8. Return the head to neutral with control.
