Description
The neck extension stretch is a simple cervical mobility exercise where you gently tilt your head back to extend the neck, stretching the front of the neck and counteracting the effects of forward head posture from screens and desk work. It is one of the most accessible neck stretches.

Neck Extension Stretch Instructions
- Sit or stand tall with shoulders relaxed.
- Slowly tilt your head back, looking up toward the ceiling.
- Stop at a comfortable point — do not force the range.
- Feel the stretch through the front of your neck and throat.
- Hold for 5 to 10 seconds. Breathe deeply.
- Slowly return your head to neutral.
- Repeat 5 to 10 times.
- If you feel any pinching or dizziness, stop immediately.
