Description
The neck stretch with hand assisted is a simple stretch for the upper trap and side of the neck. The free hand gently pulls the head sideways for a deeper stretch than passive tilting alone.
Equipment Required
Neck Stretch with Hand Assisted Instructions
- Sit or stand tall with the shoulders relaxed.
- Place one hand on the opposite side of the head.
- Let the other arm hang at your side.
- Gently pull the head sideways toward the shoulder.
- Stop when you feel a stretch on the side of the neck.
- Keep the shoulders down and avoid shrugging.
- Hold the stretch for the desired duration.
- Release and repeat on the other side.
