Description
The lying incline hip raise is a reverse crunch performed on a decline bench head down. The lifter lies on the bench gripping the top with both hands, then lifts the hips and legs up. The decline angle increases the load on the lower abs.

Lying Incline Hip Raise Instructions
- Set a decline bench with the head lower than the feet.
- Lie on the bench with the head at the lower end.
- Reach overhead and grip the top of the bench with both hands.
- Brace your core hard.
- Lift the legs up and curl the hips up off the bench.
- Continue until the hips are lifted high and legs are vertical.
- Squeeze the lower abs at the top.
- Lower the legs and hips back down with control.
