Description
The lever one arm side chest press is a unilateral chest press performed sideways to the machine. The lifter sits with one shoulder facing the machine and presses one arm at a time. The angled position changes the press pattern and adds chest stretch.
Equipment Required
Lever One Arm Side Chest Press Instructions
- Sit on a lever chest press machine sideways to one side.
- Set the seat so the handle is at chest height.
- Grip the handle with the hand closest to the machine.
- Brace your core and keep the chest tall.
- Press the handle forward and across the body.
- Squeeze the chest hard at full extension.
- Pause briefly at lockout.
- Return with control. Complete reps and switch sides.
