Description

The lever one arm side chest press is a unilateral chest press performed sideways to the machine. The lifter sits with one shoulder facing the machine and presses one arm at a time. The angled position changes the press pattern and adds chest stretch.

Lever One Arm Side Chest Press Instructions

  1. Sit on a lever chest press machine sideways to one side.
  2. Set the seat so the handle is at chest height.
  3. Grip the handle with the hand closest to the machine.
  4. Brace your core and keep the chest tall.
  5. Press the handle forward and across the body.
  6. Squeeze the chest hard at full extension.
  7. Pause briefly at lockout.
  8. Return with control. Complete reps and switch sides.
