- Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding a barbell with both hands.
- Position your hands shoulder-width apart with palms facing down.
- Hold the bar at thigh level with arms extended.
- Maintain a slight bend in the elbows.
- Brace your core and pull your shoulders back.
- Raise the bar in front of you in an arc.
- Continue past shoulder height up to fully overhead.
- Lower the bar back down with control to the starting position.
