Description

The lever horizontal one leg press is performed on a horizontal leg press machine using only one leg at a time. The single-leg setup eliminates side-to-side strength imbalances and forces each leg to work independently. It is excellent for unilateral leg hypertrophy and rehabilitation.

Lever Horizontal One Leg Press Instructions

  1. Sit on a horizontal leg press machine with your back firmly against the pad.
  2. Place one foot on the platform in the middle area.
  3. Keep the other leg off the platform.
  4. Release the safety stops.
  5. Brace your core and grip the handles.
  6. Press the platform forward by extending the working leg.
  7. Stop just short of locking out the knee.
  8. Slowly lower the platform back to the start. Complete reps on one side before switching.
