  1. Lie on a bench on your side with the body fully supported.
  2. Hold a dumbbell in the top hand at the lower chest area.
  3. Bend the elbow with the dumbbell close to the body.
  4. Brace your core and keep the body still.
  5. Press the dumbbell up and across your body.
  6. Lock out the arm with the dumbbell over your top shoulder.
  7. Lower with control back to the start.
  8. Complete reps and switch sides.
