Description
The cable lying triceps extension II is performed on a flat bench positioned in front of a low cable pulley. A rope or bar attachment is taken behind the head, and the elbows extend to lock out. The cable provides constant tension throughout the rep, unlike a barbell or dumbbell.

- Set a flat bench in front of a low cable pulley.
- Attach a rope or straight bar to the cable.
- Lie back on the bench with your head near the cable.
- Reach overhead and grab the attachment.
- Start with arms extended above your forehead.
- Bend at the elbows to lower the attachment behind your head.
- Keep your upper arms still and only the elbows moving.
- Extend the elbows to return to the start position.
