Description
The dumbbell standing wrist reverse curl is a forearm extensor exercise performed standing with dumbbells held in front of the thighs with an overhand grip. By extending the wrists upward against the dumbbell weight, you train the forearm extensors directly. It builds the back of the forearm for full arm thickness.
Equipment Required
Dumbbell Standing Wrist Reverse Curl Instructions
- Stand tall with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Hold a dumbbell in each hand at thigh level with an overhand grip.
- Allow the dumbbells to rest against the front of your thighs.
- Brace your core and pin your elbows against your sides.
- Lower the dumbbells by extending your wrists down toward the floor.
- Curl the dumbbells back up by extending your wrists upward.
- Squeeze the forearm extensors at the top of the curl.
- Lower back down with control.
