  1. Sit on the edge of a flat bench.
  2. Hold a dumbbell in each hand at the sides.
  3. Lean forward at the hips so the chest is near the thighs.
  4. Let the dumbbells hang down toward the floor.
  5. Brace your core and keep the back flat.
  6. Lift one dumbbell out to the side in a fly.
  7. Squeeze the rear delt hard at the top.
  8. Lower with control. Alternate arms each rep.
