Description

The bottle weighted shoulder press uses water jugs or weighted bottles in each hand for a standing overhead press. It is a great home option for shoulder training when no gym equipment is available. The bottles can be filled with water or sand to scale resistance.

Equipment Required

Bottle Weighted Shoulder Press Instructions

  1. Stand tall with feet hip-width apart.
  2. Hold a weighted bottle in each hand at shoulder level.
  3. Use a pronated grip with palms facing forward.
  4. Brace your core and keep your chest up.
  5. Press both bottles straight overhead.
  6. Lock out the arms with hands meeting above your head.
  7. Pause briefly at full extension.
  8. Lower the bottles slowly back to shoulder level.
