Bent Over Row With Towel

The bent over row with towel is a self-resisted back exercise where you step on a towel, grip both ends, hinge forward, and row upward against the towel's resistance. The towel provides isometric tension — you pull as hard as you want. Useful when no weights are available.

Bent Over Row With Towel Instructions

  1. Stand on the center of a long towel with both feet.
  2. Grip both ends of the towel. Hinge forward at the hips.

  5. Hold the peak contraction for 3 to 5 seconds.
  6. Release slightly, then pull again.
  7. Control your own resistance — pull harder for more difficulty.
