Description
The band cross body one arm chest press is a unilateral chest press done with a band anchored behind. The lifter presses across the body, adding a horizontal adduction component. It biases the inner chest and is a strong band variation.
Equipment Required
Band Cross Body Chest Press Instructions
- Anchor a resistance band behind you at chest height.
- Grip the band handle with one hand.
- Step forward into a staggered stance.
- Bring the handle to the side of the chest.
- Brace your core and keep the chest up.
- Press the band across the body to the opposite side.
- Squeeze the chest hard at full extension.
- Return with control. Finish all reps then switch sides.
