Description

The band cross body one arm chest press is a unilateral chest press done with a band anchored behind. The lifter presses across the body, adding a horizontal adduction component. It biases the inner chest and is a strong band variation.

Band Cross Body Chest Press Instructions

  1. Anchor a resistance band behind you at chest height.
  2. Grip the band handle with one hand.
  3. Step forward into a staggered stance.
  4. Bring the handle to the side of the chest.
  5. Brace your core and keep the chest up.
  6. Press the band across the body to the opposite side.
  7. Squeeze the chest hard at full extension.
  8. Return with control. Finish all reps then switch sides.
