Description
The weighted leg extension crunch combines a leg extension with a crunch in one movement. Lying on your back holding a dumbbell on your chest, you crunch up while extending your legs out, then return both to the starting position. The combo hits both the upper and lower abs with added load.

- Lie on your back on the floor with knees bent and feet off the floor.
- Hold a dumbbell on your chest with both hands.
- Brace your core and engage your abs.
- Crunch your shoulders off the floor while simultaneously extending your legs straight out.
- Reach the dumbbell forward as you crunch up.
- Continue until your shoulders are off the floor and your legs are extended.
- Squeeze your abs hard at the top.
- Slowly return to the starting position with control.
