Description
The suspension trainer side bridge is an advanced side plank variation with one foot suspended in a TRX cradle. The lifter holds a side plank position while the suspended foot stays in the cradle. The instability creates a brutal oblique and shoulder challenge.
Equipment Required
Suspension Trainer Side Bridge Instructions
- Set the suspension trainer foot cradles low.
- Place one foot in a cradle and lie on your side.
- Set the bottom forearm on the floor under the shoulder.
- Press up into a side plank with the body in a straight line.
- Stack the suspended foot on the bottom foot.
- Brace your core and squeeze the bottom glute.
- Hold the side plank with the body steady.
- Drop down with control. Complete time and switch sides.
