  1. Step one foot forward into a long split lunge stance.
  2. Set the front foot flat with knee tracking the toe.
  3. Keep the back leg long with the back heel lifted.
  4. Stand tall with chest up and core braced.
  5. Bring one arm forward and the other arm back, like a sprinter pose.
  6. Sink into a tall lunge position with hips squared forward.
  7. Hold the position and feel the hip flexor stretch on the back leg.
  8. Switch sides and repeat with the opposite stance.
