Description

The roll ball deltoid posterior is a self myofascial release drill for the back of the shoulder. Pressing a ball into the rear delt against a wall or floor releases knots that limit overhead and pulling motion.

Roll Ball Deltoid Posterior Instructions

  1. Stand with one shoulder against a wall.
  2. Place a massage ball between the rear shoulder and the wall.
  3. Brace the core and keep the body tall.
  4. Press into the ball with controlled pressure.
  5. Roll the rear shoulder slowly over the ball.
  6. Pause on tender spots for several breaths.
  7. Adjust angle to cover the full rear delt.
  8. Continue for the working time then switch sides.
