  1. Sit on the floor with your upper back against a sturdy bench.
  2. Plant your feet flat on the floor close together.
  3. Lean back so your upper back rests on the bench edge.
  4. Brace your core and tuck your chin slightly.
  5. Drive through your heels to lift your hips up.
  6. Reach a flat bridge position with hips at the same height as knees.
  7. Squeeze the glutes hard at the top.
  8. Lower the hips back down with control.
