Description

The lying alternate frog kick is a core drill done lying on the back. The mover alternates pulling each heel in toward the glutes in a frog kick motion. It builds the lower abs and trains hip flexor control.

Lying Alt Frog Kick Instructions

  1. Lie on the back with the legs straight.
  2. Place the hands at the sides palms down.
  3. Brace your core and lift the legs slightly off the floor.
  4. Bend one knee and pull the heel toward the glute.
  5. Extend the leg back out straight.
  6. Repeat with the other leg in alternating fashion.
  7. Keep both feet off the floor throughout.
  8. Continue alternating sides.
