Band Half Kneeling Chop Instructions

  1. Anchor a band at a high point on one side.
  2. Set up in a half kneeling position with the inside leg up.
  3. Grip both ends of the band with arms extended toward the anchor.
  4. Brace your core and keep your hips squared.
  5. Pull the band diagonally down and across to the opposite hip.
  6. Rotate the torso through the chop without moving the hips.
  7. Squeeze the obliques at the end of the motion.
  8. Return with control to the start. Complete reps and switch sides.
