Description

The lever incline hammer chest press is performed on a Hammer Strength plate-loaded incline press machine. The machine fixes the press path and allows for very heavy loading of the upper chest. The machine setup is safer than free weights and great for hypertrophy.

Lever Incline Hammer Chest Press Instructions

  1. Sit on the Hammer Strength incline press machine with your back against the pad.
  2. Adjust the seat so the handles are at upper chest level.
  3. Grip the handles with a neutral or pronated grip.
  4. Brace your core and keep your feet flat on the floor.
  5. Press the handles forward and upward.
  6. Lock out the arms at full extension.
  7. Squeeze the upper chest at the top.
  8. Lower the handles slowly back to the start.
