The leg raise oblique crunch combines a lying leg raise with a side twist. As the legs raise up toward the ceiling, they twist down to one side, hitting the obliques hard. The combination trains the lower abs and obliques in one efficient ab move.

Leg Raise Oblique Crunch Instructions

  1. Lie on your back with arms by your sides or under your hips.
  2. Keep your legs together with a slight bend in the knees.
  3. Brace your core and press your lower back into the floor.
  4. Lift both legs up toward the ceiling.
  5. Continue until your hips start to lift off the floor.
  6. Twist your legs together down to one side.
  7. Stop just before your legs touch the floor.
  8. Twist back up to center, then alternate sides on each rep.
