The ez bar california skullcrusher is a hybrid triceps move that combines a skullcrusher and a close grip bench press. The bar lowers behind the head like a skullcrusher then is pressed back up like a close grip bench. It hits all three heads of the triceps.

EZ Bar California Skullcrusher Instructions
- Lie on a flat bench holding an EZ bar with a close grip.
- Press the bar up over your chest with arms extended.
- Lower the bar behind your head by bending the elbows.
- Stop when the bar is just behind your head.
- Pull the bar down to your chest by sliding it along the path.
- From the chest position, press the bar back up over your face.
- Lock out the arms at the top of the press.
- Repeat the combination motion in smooth flow.
