Description

The ez barbell anti gravity press is a unique overhead press variation using a reverse grip on an ez bar. The lifter starts with the bar behind the head and presses up to lockout. The reverse grip and starting position load the triceps and rear delts hard.

EZ Barbell Anti Gravity Press Instructions

  1. Stand or sit holding an ez curl bar with a reverse underhand grip.
  2. Bring the bar up behind the head with elbows bent.
  3. Set the upper arms parallel to the floor at the start.
  4. Brace your core and keep the chest tall.
  5. Press the bar straight up overhead from behind the head.
  6. Lock out at the top with arms fully extended.
  7. Squeeze the triceps and shoulders hard.
  8. Lower the bar back down behind the head with control.
