Description

The exercise ball body saw is a plank variation that uses a stability ball under the forearms. The lifter rocks the body forward and back in a sawing motion. The motion adds core load and trains anti-extension strength.

Exercise Ball Body Saw Instructions

  1. Place the forearms on a stability ball.
  2. Set the body in a high plank position with feet on the floor.
  3. Set the body in a straight line from head to heels.
  4. Brace your core and keep the back flat.
  5. Rock the ball forward by pushing through the toes.
  6. Stop when the ball is at the elbow level.
  7. Pull the ball back by driving the elbows down.
  8. Continue the sawing motion.
