  1. Stand tall with feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Hold a single dumbbell in your right hand at your side.
  3. Position the dumbbell with palm facing forward.
  4. Place your left hand on your hip or at your side.
  5. Brace your core and pull your shoulders back.
  6. Curl the dumbbell up by bending only at the elbow.
  7. Squeeze the bicep hard at the top.
  8. Lower the dumbbell back down with control to a full stretch. Switch arms.
