- Set a bench to about a 30 degree incline.
- Lie face down (chest on the bench) with a barbell on the floor.
- Reach down and grip the bar with palms facing up (underhand grip).
- Position your hands shoulder-width apart.
- Allow the bar to hang at full arm extension.
- Brace your core.
- Pull the bar up to your stomach by driving the elbows back along your sides.
- Squeeze the lats hard, then lower with control.
