Dumbbell Decline Overhead Sit Up Instructions

  1. Set a bench to a decline angle and secure your feet on the foot pads.
  2. Lie back with a single dumbbell held with both hands overhead.
  3. Extend your arms straight overhead with elbows locked.
  4. Brace your abs hard.
  5. Sit up by crunching the abs and lifting your shoulders off the bench.
  6. Continue until your torso is upright with arms still overhead.
  7. Maintain straight arms throughout with the dumbbell overhead.
  8. Lower yourself back down to the starting position with control.
