Description
The bodyweight standing oblique twist is a standing core drill that rotates the torso side to side. The mover holds the arms out and twists at the waist. It is a useful warm-up and oblique builder with no equipment.
Equipment Required

- Stand with the feet shoulder width apart.
- Brace your core and keep the chest up.
- Extend the arms straight out to the sides.
- Twist the torso to one side as far as possible.
- Keep the hips facing forward.
- Twist back through center to the other side.
- Use a steady controlled tempo.
- Continue alternating sides.
