Twist Superman
Description
The twist Superman adds a rotational twist to the standard Superman exercise. From a lying face-down position, you lift the chest and legs into a Superman, then twist the torso to one side at the top. The rotation adds oblique and erector spinae work to the standard back extension.
Equipment Required
Twist Superman Instructions
- Lie face down on the floor with arms extended overhead.
- Position your legs straight with toes pointed.
- Brace your core and squeeze your glutes.
- Lift your chest, arms, and legs off the floor in a Superman position.
- Hold the lifted position briefly.
- Twist your torso to the right while staying lifted.
- Return to center, then twist to the left.
- Lower back to the floor with control.
