Description
The suspender single leg squat uses a TRX or suspension trainer to provide light hand support during a single leg pistol squat. The straps help with balance and assist on the way up if needed. It is one of the best progressions toward an unassisted pistol squat.

Suspender Single Leg Squat Instructions
- Set a suspension trainer at about chest height.
- Grab both handles with a light grip for balance support.
- Stand on one foot with the other leg extended in front.
- Brace your core and keep your chest up.
- Lower yourself into a single-leg squat on the working leg.
- Use the straps for light support but let the leg do the work.
- Continue down as deep as your mobility allows.
- Drive up through the working leg to standing. Switch legs.
