Suspender Front Plank

Description

The suspender front plank holds a plank position with the feet in suspension strap loops. The unstable straps force the core to work overtime to maintain a straight body line. It is a much more challenging variation of the standard plank and builds total core stability.

Suspender Front Plank Instructions

  1. Adjust suspension straps to about a foot off the floor.
  2. Place your feet inside the straps with toes hooked through.
  3. Get into a high plank position with hands on the floor.
  4. Position your hands shoulder-width apart.
  5. Brace your core hard and squeeze your glutes.
  6. Hold a straight line from head to heels.
  7. Resist the unstable straps trying to swing your feet around.
  8. Hold for the duration without breaking form.
