Description
The suspender close grip chest press is a TRX chest press with a narrow neutral grip. The lifter grips the handles together with palms facing in, then presses with the elbows tucked tight to the body. The narrow grip biases the triceps and inner chest.
Equipment Required
Suspender Close Grip Chest Press Instructions
- Set the suspension trainer at chest height.
- Grip the handles with palms facing each other and hands close together.
- Walk the feet back so the body leans forward at an angle.
- Brace your core and keep the body in a straight line.
- Lower the body by bending the elbows tight against the sides.
- Stop with the chest near the handles.
- Press back up to lockout extending the elbows.
- Squeeze the chest and triceps at the top.
