Description

The sliding floor pulldown on towel is a kneeling pulldown drill done with towels on a smooth floor. The lifter slides the hands forward and pulls them back to mimic a lat pulldown. It is a useful no-equipment lat builder.

Floor Pulldown Towel Slide Instructions

  1. Kneel on the floor with towels under both hands.
  2. Set the hips back over the heels.
  3. Brace your core and keep the chest up.
  4. Slide the hands forward as the torso lowers.
  5. Stop with the arms fully extended overhead.
  6. Pull the hands back toward the hips by driving the elbows down.
  7. Squeeze the lats hard as the hands return.
  8. Continue for the working set.
