- Sit on the floor with both legs extended in front.
- Bend one knee and place the foot flat on the floor close to the same side hip.
- Reach the arm on the bent knee side forward and around the bent knee.
- Bring the other arm behind the back and clasp the hands together.
- Keep the extended leg flexed and active.
- Inhale to lengthen the spine.
- Exhale and fold forward over the extended leg.
- Hold the pose for the desired duration then switch sides.
