Description
The roll kneeling upper back rotation is a thoracic mobility drill done from a kneeling position with one elbow on a foam roller. Rotating the torso opens the thoracic spine and releases the upper back.

- Kneel on the floor in front of a foam roller.
- Place one elbow on the roller with the palm up.
- Set the other hand on the floor for support.
- Brace the core and keep the back flat.
- Rotate the torso toward the supported elbow.
- Reach the chest open with the rotation.
- Hold the rotated position briefly.
- Return to start and continue for all reps then switch.
