  1. Lie on the back with the knees bent and feet flat.
  2. Place a massage ball below the shoulder blade in the mid back.
  3. Brace the core and keep the head supported.
  4. Lift the hips slightly to load the ball.
  5. Roll slowly through the lower trap area.
  6. Pause on tender spots for several breaths.
  7. Adjust angle to find the muscle.
  8. Continue for the working time then switch sides.
