Description
The push up to knee tap is a push up variation that adds a knee tap between reps. The lifter performs a push up, then reaches across to tap the opposite knee. It builds chest, core, and shoulder stability in one move.
Equipment Required
Push Up to Knee Tap Instructions
- Begin in a high plank position with hands under the shoulders.
- Set the body in a straight line from head to heels.
- Brace your core and keep the back flat.
- Lower the chest toward the floor in a push up.
- Press back up to lockout.
- Lift one hand and tap the opposite knee.
- Return the hand to the floor and repeat the push up.
- Alternate the tapping hand each rep.
