Lever Unilateral Row

Lever Unilateral Row

Description

The lever unilateral row is performed on a chest-supported leverage machine that allows you to row one arm at a time. The chest support eliminates lower back stress and the single-arm pattern lets you focus on each side of the back independently. It builds back size and corrects imbalances.

Equipment Required

Lever Unilateral Row Instructions

  1. Adjust the leverage row machine seat so the chest pad sits at sternum height.
  2. Sit at the machine with your chest pressed firmly to the pad.
  3. Grip a single handle with your right hand.
  4. Brace your core and pull your shoulders back.
  5. Pull the handle back by driving your elbow back toward your hip.
  6. Squeeze your shoulder blade in toward your spine at the back.
  7. Slowly return to the starting position with arm fully extended.
  8. Complete reps on one side, then switch arms.
