  1. Sit on the floor in front of a low cable pulley.
  2. Attach a long bar or wide-grip handle to the cable.
  3. Plant your feet flat on the floor with knees bent.
  4. Grab the bar with a wide overhand grip and arms extended.
  5. Brace your core and sit upright.
  6. Pull the bar back toward your upper chest.
  7. Lead with the elbows out to the sides at shoulder height.
  8. Squeeze the upper back, then return slowly to the start.
