- Set up a lever lat pulldown machine with a rope attachment.
- Sit on the bench with the thighs under the pads.
- Grip the rope ends with both hands palms facing each other.
- Set the arms straight up at the start.
- Brace your core and pinch the shoulder blades.
- Pull the rope down to the chest separating the ends at the bottom.
- Squeeze the lats hard at the bottom.
- Return with control to arms extended overhead.
