Description

The kneeling plank tap shoulder is a regression of the standard shoulder tap plank. The lifter holds a plank from the knees and taps each opposite shoulder while keeping the hips level. The kneeling stance reduces the load and is great for beginners.

Kneeling Plank Tap Shoulder Instructions

  1. Begin in a high plank position from the knees.
  2. Set the hands under the shoulders and the body in a straight line.
  3. Brace your core and keep the hips level.
  4. Lift one hand off the floor.
  5. Tap the opposite shoulder with the hand.
  6. Place the hand back on the floor.
  7. Repeat with the other hand to tap the opposite shoulder.
  8. Continue alternating shoulder taps.
