Description

The kneeling leg half circle is a hip mobility drill done on all fours. The mover lifts one leg and sweeps it in a half circle pattern from front to back. It is a useful warm-up drill for hip mobility.

Kneeling Leg Half Circle Instructions

  1. Set up on hands and knees in a quadruped position.
  2. Place the hands under the shoulders and knees under the hips.
  3. Brace your core and keep the back flat.
  4. Lift one leg straight back behind you.
  5. Sweep the leg in a half circle out to the side.
  6. Continue the sweep to the front of the body.
  7. Reverse the path back to the start.
  8. Finish all reps then switch sides.
