  1. Lie on your back on the floor.
  2. Bring the soles of the feet together with the knees dropped out to the sides.
  3. Hold a filled water bottle against the chest with both hands.
  4. Brace your core hard.
  5. Crunch the upper body up off the floor.
  6. Squeeze the abs hard at the top.
  7. Lower back down with control to the floor.
  8. Continue the crunching motion.
