Standing Bent Knee Figure 8 Instructions

  1. Stand tall on one leg with a slight bend in the knee.
  2. Lift the opposite knee up so the thigh is parallel to the floor.
  3. Brace the core and engage the standing glute.
  4. Begin tracing a figure 8 pattern in the air with the lifted knee.
  5. Move smoothly from one loop to the other.
  6. Keep the hips square to the front.
  7. Control the movement with the hip flexors and core.
  8. Repeat for the desired number of full figure 8 patterns then switch sides.
