Description
The front plank side hop is a dynamic plank variation that adds a side-to-side hop. The lifter holds a high plank and hops the feet together side to side. The hop loads the obliques and adds a cardio component to the standard plank.

- Begin in a high plank position with hands under the shoulders.
- Set the body in a straight line from head to heels.
- Brace your core hard and keep the hips level.
- Hop both feet to one side together.
- Land softly with the feet still together.
- Hop both feet back through center to the other side.
- Continue the side-to-side hopping motion at speed.
- Keep the upper body steady throughout.
