Description
The dancer pose natarajasana is a standing yoga balance pose where the lifter stands on one leg and reaches back to grab the lifted foot. The hand pulls the foot up and back to deeply stretch the quad and hip flexor while the body balances forward.

Dancer Pose Natarajasana Instructions
- Stand tall with feet together.
- Shift your weight onto one foot.
- Bend the other knee and grab the inside of the lifted foot.
- Lift the lifted foot up and back behind you.
- Reach the opposite arm forward for balance.
- Press the foot back into your hand to lift the leg higher.
- Feel a deep stretch in the front of the lifted leg.
- Hold the balance then lower the leg. Switch sides.
